中文摘要:大洋海底蕴藏着丰富的稀土矿产资源,然而如何在深海探查清楚这种资源的分布范围成为下一步开发利用的关键。本文阐述了日本在南鸟礁附近采用SBP(浅地层剖面)对富REY软泥的勘探,介绍了方法和效果。通过回声图获得非穿透型(O型)、透明型(T型)和分层型(L型)3种声相特征,对应不同的海底地形特征,并同沉积岩心样品对比,从而圈出T型富REY软泥区域和层位。由此,确定(富REY软泥)主要分布在南鸟礁南部和东南部的海底,是未来海洋稀土开发的重点区域。这种技术是对当今世界海洋稀土勘探是一种有益的补充和应用创新。

Application of Japanese SBP Data on Deep-sea REY Survey and Implications
Abstract:The ocean floor is rich in rare earth mineral resources, but how to explore the distribution of these resources in the deep sea becomes the key to the next step in exploitation and utilization. This article focuses on the method and effect of Japan"s exploration of RE-rich soft mud using SBP (shallow formation profile analysis) near South Bird Reef. The profile of the shallow stratigraphic section of the survey is introduced. The three phonograms of non-penetrating (O), transparent (T) and stratified (L) can be obtained by the echo diagram. The corresponding acoustic characteristics correspond to different submarine topographic features and the sedimentary core samples. It is concluded that T-type corresponds to REY-rich soft mud and L-phase represents non-REY-rich semi-oceanic sediments. Thus, according to the distribution of the phonogram, it is concluded that (REY-rich slime) is mainly distributed in the southern and southeastern seabed of the sea around the South Bird Reef, while the L-phase (non-REY sediments) are abundant in the surrounding sea North and West.
